The Carano 4 Children non-profit foundation has been created in memory of Luigi and Erika, two married aeronautical engineers with passion for art and science. The mission of the foundation is to help children to develop their artistic and scientific skills and creating a cultural bond and solidarity between children and young people of greater and lesser opportunities, showing that all children have similar potential to create and become 'geniuses'. Since 2019, the foundation has launched the annual “Leonardo 4 Children” non-profit initiative including Awards on art & science stimulating children’s creativity to address global issues such as climate, equality and peace. The foundation also organizes charity concerts and events to promote young music talents. All the proceeds from the initiative are used to support beneficiary projects in favour of children in need with art & science education.
